You Can Now Create Personalized PS Store Gift Cards

Now you can create personalized PS Store gift cards

Sony has finally given us the ability to create personalized PS Store Gift certificates For that special someone. In the past Sony would send out the gift cards carrying personalized messages digitally on senders’ behalf (unless you were screenshotting codes yourself). We can now create a digital gift card in PDF format (or as a digital voucher).

How to make personalized gift cards for PS Store

First, buy a PS Store gift certificate from anywhere you like and then go to http://gifting.playstation.com. Choose from the available designs (there aren’t a lot of options yet, sadly), enter the voucher code you purchased along with the amount, and add a message. You have two options: you can either send the gift card electronically via email (or WhatsApp) or you can download the PDF and print it. Then, hand the printed voucher to your loved one!

This isn’t quite the same as Sony allowing players to purchase game codes as giftsFans have been asking for it for years. But it’s a step in the right direction. Here’s hoping we get the ability to gift digital games sooner rather than later.
