Mutual of America Community Partnership Award: Honorable Mention for Work and Life Skills Training Program
NEW YORK, Dec. 28, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Mutual of America Financial Group announced that Wildflyer Coffee and its Work and Life Skills Training Program was named an Honorable Mention recipient of the prestigious 2022 Community Partnership Award.

Wildflyer Coffee was established in 2017 in response to the increasing problem of youth homelessness. The Twin Cities Through a four-month program of life skills and employment, the area is provided with a unique opportunity. Participating in the program are either baristas at Wildflyer Coffee’s brick and mortar coffee shops, or packaging associates for its wholesale supplier and e-commerce stores.
“Lacking stable employment is often the biggest obstacle youth face when trying to find housing stability,” stated one expert.
