Week 16: Christmas Eve Surprises

Tank and me are here to reveal who will be surprise Christmas Eve players. Tank, all our family members, friends, relatives and families are surprised that the NFL is going to dominate the holiday. Tell us about some players that may surprise fantasy managers and who they will be on Saturday’s slate.

Darius Slayton is a potential surprise candidate on Saturday’s slate, simply because Daniel Jones is his quarterback. Daniel Jones has thrown for less than 200 yards only five times this season, according to my stats. He did, however, throw more than 300 yards during the game. He faces the Minnesota Vikings this week.

You can place a lot of money on the pass game when a team plays the Minnesota Vikings. The Minnesota pass defense is utter garbage. This is an opportunity for New York Giants’ pass offense to improve. If Daniel Jones was on his Q’s and P’s, we could have a sneaky shot on this one. However,

Slayton is showing that the New York Giants can trust him to be a capable wide receiver. This trend is expected to continue for the rest of the week.

I’m going stay in the game to talk about another wide receiver. K.J. should surprise us again. Osborn’s Minnesota Vikings. You know what? It’s kinda chasy. He won that massive, out of the blue eruption game against Colts. Tank, I think he could run it back there. It’s interesting. K.J. Osborn plays the slot receiver position.

We’ve been talking about Justin Jefferson, Justin Jefferson of Cooper Kupp, all summer. K.J. Osborn will be the slot receiver in Kevin O’Connell’s offensive.

It fits him well, he’s an explosive guy. But you have to improve the fundamentals. He is a bit sloppy in his route running and such. He’s still explosive. He can get open. Last week, he still ran a route using 87% of the dropbacks. It is likely that the usage will be similar. Man, the Giants secondary has given up on big play threats like Jahan Dontson. K.J. Osborn can do it this week.

Yes, Marquise Goodwin is my next play. I’m sure he’s a rerun. He’s not only an excellent budget option but also someone who may be able to save your fantasy league season. It’s all out. Andy has spoken out before about how awful the Kansas City defense has been. He should be able fill in for DK Metcalf.

DK should be getting most coverage from the defense. He should also get some one-on one coverage. He’ll be able use that, I believe. He’s already demonstrated the ability to score multiple touchdowns early in the season. He may not have multiple touchdowns this week.

Geno should be able to throw it around, even though Geno is playing against the Kansas City Chiefs. Geno should be the main beneficiary. If you don’t have Marquise Goodwin on your roster, make sure to get him.

It is hard to believe that Tyler Lockett will be gone this week. It could sink some of my teams that I really, truly care about.

Tank, this is what I know because you had him. I also know that I’m cursing another player for twice putting him on the show. This guy was in your DFS lineup. But, I don’t think many people know that J.K. Dobbins is the NFL’s leading rusher in the past two weeks. J.K. Dobbins rushed 245 yards. The guy admits that he doesn’t have it all figured out. His explosiveness doesn’t go back far.

It’s obvious when he enters the open field. He’s still exploding for many rushing yards lately. The match-up against the Cleveland Browns was amazing, evidently. Gus Edwards is still in the backfield. That’s the way it will be. However, the Atlanta Falcons are a great opponent. Alvin Kamara had 91 yards.

This was his highest yardage since week six, or something crazy similar. J.K. Dobbins is going to be the Ravens’ focal point, I believe. It has always been evident. It should be there again. Sammy Watkins was just signed by the Ravens. Tank, this is how bad they are at the passing game. On Christmas Eve, we should be able to see the ball in Dobbins’ belly and Gus Edwards’ belly a lot.
