The latest Lunar New Year stamp from the Postal Service celebrating the Year of the Rabbit will be issued by the Postal Service. This stamp design is reminiscent of the intricately decorated masks that were used in the lion or dragon dances performed at Lunar New Year parades. This 3-D mask of a rabbit depicts a modern take on the long tradition in paper-cut folk arts crafts created at this auspicious time. The rabbit mask design uses colors and patterns that have symbolic meaning. |
