‘This is home for us’

Just before Saturday’s loss against the New Orleans Saints, the Cleveland Browns and right tackle Jack Conklin agreed to a four-year extension. Conklin will earn approximately $15 million per season and get $31,000,000 in guaranteed money. Conklin can now enjoy at least two more seasons of Cleveland.

Conklin answered the question today. had this to say:

“Really, this is home for us. This is the place we want to raise our children. When it came down to it, we didn’t really want to have to go to free agency and take the chance of having to move. This town, this organization and the fans are all my favorites. My family feels right at home here. This really, exactly like you said, is where we want to make our home forever, and I am happy I get to be here for the next four years and keep on playing for the Browns.”

Conklin could have made more money if the open market had offered him his services. the 20th-highest-paid tackle You can deal with the NFL. As the market resets by cashing in on this offseason, that number will also increase.

This speaks well of Conklin, and his feelings about the city and this organization.
