Texas signee Johntay Cook coasts past LSU’s Javien Toviano

On Sunday, Charles Omenihu pondered what we’re all thinking. What is TCU’s advantage over Texas in the playoff?

Javien Toviano, former Texas target and LSU pledge, has been named as the LSU’s new pledge got a little snippy in reply to Omenihu’s tweet.

Texas fans were quick to defend their team honor and put Toviano under fire. Toviano was then shown footage of Johntay cooking beating him. one-on-one It would appear on social media.

Toviano is an excellent player in his own right, but Cook was simply too quick for the elite corner during the one-on-one rep. It’s unclear how often the two will face each other in the SEC, but it doesn’t look like a matchup that LSU head coach Brian Kelly will relish.

Texas’s unique gifted receiver in the Desoto native should be its takeaway. Johntay is fast and can separate things in a way that no other Texas government has. Texas is three-fold blessed with Ryan Niblett, Cook, and DeAndre Moore. Brenen Thompson and Xavier Worthy are also on campus. Before long, the unit’s speed should overwhelm.
