Jaylan Ford Xavier Worthy When they were asked if the plan was to return to Texas, both replied that they did. Both said they were focused on beating Washington Huskies.
Both players do the same thing every week, so we can take these statements as they are. While some will read more into what each player said, there’s not much more to deduce.
Ford and Worthy are likely to be the best returning football players if they return. Texas coaches certainly hope for their return. Both will, however, announce their plans next season according to their own timelines as they should.
Worthy still has one year to become draft eligible. Ford, who has been on Forty Acres for three years, will be eligible to enter the NFL Draft.
There is a good chance that each of these players will make a significant impact on Texas in 2023.
