Savannah Guthrie When it comes to holidays activities with her children, she has a great sense of humor.

The Today On Thursday, a co-host posted an Instagram Reel showing her family’s “cozy Gingerbread Village,” laughing that it didn’t inspire the holiday spirit. She showed it spread on a red vinyl tablecloth.

Set her pan on the table. Law & Order She joked that the theme song “looks like crime scene music.”

The gingerbread houses were arranged in an unevenly decorated manner, with varying amounts of candy and icing.

“Holidaze,” wrote a mother of two, who shared her son Charles “Charley” Max, 6, and girl Vale, 8 with husband Michael Feldman.

Charley turned 6 years old earlier in the month. The family shared sweet photos of Charley opening his presents and spending quality time with their family.

Guthrie shared the first picture of Charley, a sweet photo featuring her son, on her Instagram Story. It featured her smiling big as Charley unwrapped his present. She wrote, “Happy birthday to our little guy.”

The journalist shared more photos from Charley’s festivities on Instagram The next day featured a cute photo of Guthrie presenting Charley with a birthday cake and birthday candles.

PEOPLE speaks to her about her connection with other people Today Anchor Hoda Kotb Guthrie stated that she and Kotb have a bond of trust in August. One reason being that they are both older moms.

“We talk a lot about being older moms, that we’re in our 50s but our kids are little, and there are minuses to that, but we both definitely feel like it gives you perspective and it does make you calmer as a parent,” she shared.

Guthrie stated that Kotb and she often discuss raising their children in the city, as well as being “older” parents.

“Raising children when their mothers are in the public eye is something we talk about and want to be thoughtful about. Guthrie said that we also talk about our children and post photos of them. “We want that to be thoughtful and careful.

Guthrie stated that the pair could be found talking about “Should my child go to preschool all day or half-day?” Guthrie said, “What do you do if one of your children isn’t sleeping and keeps waking the other? “

“It’s very rare and wonderful to have a coworker that’s a mom. “So we kind of go through a lot the same things simultaneously,” she said.
