Paris Hilton: “Closes out 2022” with the Updated Version of “Stars Are Blind”: “It Felt Right”

Paris Hilton Fans are sliving!

The star shocked fans Friday by releasing an updated version to her 2006 hit song “Stars Are Blind”.

She wrote that “This song has always been so important to me, and it felt right to close 2022 with an updated version,” on Instagram. “Stars Are Blind (Paris’ Version).”

“Seeing my face lighting up Times Square is so special.👸🏼 Thank you to everyone who has always supported my music career.”

“I am blessed with the best fans on earth and I have enjoyed seeing your posts about new songs,” she said, adding that more music will be coming in 2023.

Hilton re-recorded Hilton’s vocals in the updated version and collaborated with Fernando Garibay, the original producer of the track. Clint Gibbs was also asked to remix the project.

Hilton teased an announcement This week, I wrote: “Me when you have a surprise that’s going break the internet at 12/30.”

The next day she gave fans more details: “Me Omw to The Record Studio after User409279 stated that we must bring back Y2K Pop.” She continued, “New year. New P.”

“Stars Are Blind” The lead single of the album, “The Lead Single”, was released in June 2006. Simple Life Star’s debut album, self-titled Paris. The track charted No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 has been regarded as a classic in 16 years.

The song found new life 2020: Writer/Director Emerald Fennell It was included in a memorable scene of her Academy Award-winning Film Promising Young Woman. Stars Carey Mulligan Bo Burnham and I sang the song in the aisles at a pharmacy, for a rare moment of lightheartedness in this critically acclaimed thriller.

“It’s one of my favorite songs. Fennell said, “I needed a song to make this movie. If a boy you like knew every word, you’d be incredibly impressed and you’d know that he had good taste.” Entertainment Weekly December “It’s an amazing song, it’s my ultimate bops.”

Hilton spent her last years DJing. However, she has also released collaborations such as 2021’s “Melting” with Electric Polar Bears and 2020’s “I Blame You” with LODATO, 2019’s „Lone Wolves” with MATTN.
