Ole Miss and Arkansas suggest Texas will do just fine in SEC

The SEC hasn’t been all that impressive in bowl season. The conference is currently 1-3, thanks to its win over Kansas in triple overtime.

Florida got bowl season started for the Longhorns’ new conference falling to Oregon State, 30-3. With a win of 27-17, Wake Forest beat Missouri. You can see why the Tigers wouldn’t want anything to do with Kansas.

The Jayhawks did a great job coming back to send overtime, which was a huge blowout. One CBS analyst appeared to use the Razorbacks’ early lead to confirm just how strong the middle of the SEC is on the football field. Kansas came back quickly.

The night ended with Texas Tech’s victory over Ole Miss 42-25. It’s possible that the game was not as close as it seems.

The Kansas Jayhawks team, which beat Arkansas in triple overtime, lost at home to Texas 55-14. If the bowl results so far are any indication, the Longhorns should be just fine in the SEC.
