Week 17: The Lions will sport their throwback uniforms
On Sunday, the home schedule at Ford Field will close when the Detroit Lions play the Chicago Bears. This week, the home team will be a little different from other weeks.
In Week 17, the Lions will wear their throwback uniform combination.
The throwbacks have a simple design without any outlines around numbers printed on a solid-blue jersey. These pants are made of solid silver and have no letters or stripes. They are usually worn with long, blue socks.
It’s the first time in the 2022 season the Lions will wear the special uniforms. They last wore them against the Packers in 2021’s final game, which the Lions won.
