Kensington Connectivity Solutions Expands to Improve Capabilities on a Wider Range of Devices

Kensington announced the expansion of its comprehensive portfolio of award-winning, productivity-enhancing connectivity solutions. Four new docking stations will allow users to improve their productivity and increase the capabilities of a wider range of tablets, laptops, and mobile devices.

The MD120U4 USB4 Portable Docking Station (K32850WW), one of the first mobile USB4 docking stations, enables users to connect a variety of accessories to macOS, Windows, iPadOS, and Samsung DeX® devices through a USB-C 3.2 Gen2 port that supports 100W power pass-through and data transfer at upstream speeds up to 40Gbps. The dock has two HDMI 2.0 ports that can support 8K and dual 4K monitors, as well as a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port. It also has two USB-A3.2 Gen2 ports.

The SD5780T Thunderbolt™ 4 Dual 4K Docking Station (K33040NA), the latest addition to Kensington’s family of high-performance Thunderbolt 4 docking stations, supports one 8K monitor or dual 4K monitors, features a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port, and allows the user to connect a mouse, keyboard and other USB devices at ultra-fast data transfer speeds up to 40Gbps. The universally compatible SD5780T offers 96W power to charge the laptop, as well as attached USB-C or USB4 accessories.

The innovative SD1700P USB-C Dual 4K Portable Dock with Qi Charging The (K32800WW), which is a fast and powerful docking station that integrates up 10W of Qi charging in a compact, fully-featured, portable dock, simplifies the work environment and eliminates the need to keep a separate charge for mobile phones, offers the industry’s best speed and power. The SD1700P is compatible with Windows, macOS and iPadOS. It also supports Samsung DeX and offers dual 4K @60Hz via two HDMI 2.0 ports. One 1Gbps Ethernet port, two USB 3.2 Gen2 ports and one USB-C3.2 Gen2 port support pass-through charging up to 100W.

Kensington will unveil a new innovative product universal Thunderbolt 4 docking station This docking station goes beyond connectivity to increase the usability, productivity, and usability of any USB-C or USB4-enabled tablet or laptop. The docking station will be available in Q2 20,23. It allows accessories like input devices, USB drives, external monitors, and Gigabit Ethernet, to instantly become available to the mobile phone when connected to a single USB cable. Kensington announced that its first mechanical keyboard was launched. MK7500F QuietType™ Pro Silent Mechanical Keyboard with Meeting Controls. Professionals who work in noise-sensitive environments will find the MK7500F useful. It uses QuietType keys with high-precision that are less than background music or normal conversation. The keys provide outstanding performance and a tactile sensation that improves accuracy and speed.
