J.J. Watt offers endorsement of DeMeco Ryans as potential head coach

The Arizona Cardinals are within the strategy of hiring a brand new head coach. One of many candidates is San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator DeMeco Ryans.

Ryans is a former teammate of not too long ago retired defensive lineman J.J. Watt.

Watt gave a ringing endorsement of Ryans as a possible head coach on social media over the weekend.

Watt tweeted how he tried to emulate Ryans when he was a rookie.

“As rookie in Houston, I purchased my first home throughout the road from DeMeco as a result of if Meco thought it was the fitting place to stay, it was the fitting place to stay for me,” he stated.

Watt continues, stating how Ryans was a captain and a frontrunner. He’s “good, powerful, personable” and he “crushed it” as a defensive coordinator.

“He will likely be an ideal head coach.”
