Is a Big 12 safety next in Notre Dame’s transfer portal?

Notre Dame has a new approach to the transfer portal this off-season.  Whether you like it or not, that’s the new world of college football and it won’t be going away anytime soon.  Notre Dame could soon get some help defensively in the back end of the team, just a few days after they signed their quarterback for 2023.

On Thursday, Sam Hartman was on campus as well as Oklahoma State’s graduate senior safety Thomas Harper.  Harper posted about his visit to South Bend, and shortly after, Tom Loy from 247Sports shared a tweet. crystal ball prediction Harper choosing Notre Dame.

Harper just finished a year in which he was injured for Oklahoma State.  In 36 career games he’s amassed 93 tackles and a pair of interceptions for the Cowboys.  Notre Dame’s greatest need is safety, as well as wide receiver and defensive lines.
