Whoopi Goldberg is revisiting — and reinforcing — her controversial comments on the Holocaust.

Goldberg made a public apology after her remarks attracted backlash.

“I have a responsibility to make sure that my words are not unexamined. my words upset so many people, which was never my intention,” she declared during another boradcast. The View. “I now understand why and I am deeply, profoundly grateful for the information that I received. It was very helpful and helped me to understand other things.”

Goldberg was eventually succeeded by suspended for two weeks.
