Heart-Warming Father’s Day Posts From Your Favorite Shredders

We loved scrolling Instagram yesterday, because we saw the most heart warming posts from our favorite snowboarders – and probably yours too. Whether they were honoring their own fathers, or honoring their place as a father themselves, here are some of our favorites.

Father’s Day is a celebration honoring fathers and father figures, acknowledging their love, guidance, and contribution to families and society. The origin of Father’s Day can be traced back to the early 20th century. The credit for establishing this occasion goes to Sonora Smart Dodd, a woman from Spokane, Washington. Inspired by Mother’s Day, she proposed a day to honor fathers, specifically her own father, a Civil War veteran who raised her and her siblings single-handedly. In 1910, the first Father’s Day was observed, and it gradually gained popularity across the United States. Today, Father’s Day is celebrated worldwide, providing an opportunity to express gratitude, affection, and appreciation for fathers and their invaluable role in our lives.
