Amari Kight, former Alabama OT, transfers to UCF

Former Alabama Crimson Tide Amari Kight (offensive tackle) announced his intention to transfer to Central Florida. Kight, a former four-star recruit out of high school, will join former teammates. Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn in Orlando.

Kite played in Tuscaloosa but did not see the field very often. Kite was the No.10 offensive tackle during the 2019 recruiting cycle. 76th overall player. Kight is 6’6 and 315 lbs and can be an immediate starter for the Knights.

Kight didn’t think he would make it into the Crimson Tide starting lineup next season. So the in-state product decided to evaluate all options. Kight will be teamed up with Javon Baker, a former Alabama teammate, and Christian Leary in Central Florida.

Ironic, that the ex-Auburn coach keeps calling on the Crimson Tide.
