After a bizarre altercation with a ranaway dog, he was taken to the hospital for an emergency hip surgery.

The 76 year-old ex-Tory MP and former health minister flew onto her hip while walking her German Shepherd in Whaley Bridge. A unleashed dog rushed at them.

Currie was completely knocked to her feet and tried to walk away from the injury, but she was eventually taken to Macclesfield hospital twelve days later.

According to the doctor, she was informed that she would need urgent surgery on her hip. I’m A Celebrity Star was left “totally broken”

Speak to , Currie said: “[The dog’s] The owner grabbed the item and ran. He didn’t ask me how I was doing. I was in complete agony on the ground, and he didn’t show any remorse.

“It was the most terrifying experience of my life. I felt numb from the pain.”

She’s now considering legal proceedings to cover the £5,000 in costs as she recovers from the operation.

Currie stated that the dog in question was troublesome and must be put down after Currie filed a report with the police.

“It’s a nightmare. It’s caused other problems in the area. [The dog] Currie said that the female was owned by a couple, and had pulled her male before. Currie also added that she was left with a banged hair.”

“I contacted Derbyshire police and now it has to be on a lead with a muzzle when outside.
