LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Dodgers and All-Star outfielder J.D. Martinez A $10 million, one year deal was concluded Thursday.

Martinez spent five years with Boston Red Sox over the past five years. He was a.274 hitter with 62 RBIs, 16 home runs and 139 hits last season. After hitting.302 with 38 RBIs last season and nine homers during the first half, he was awarded his fourth straight All-Star debut.

The designated hitter for 35-years is just 18 away from the 300-mark.

Martinez’s 12-year MLB career includes stints with Houston, Detroit and Arizona.
