Dakota Johnson calls out her mom for sharing photos without consent on Social Media.

Dakota Johnson has publicly called out her mom Melanie Griffith shared photos of her without her permission on social media. Although she is best-known for her starring role as Miss Griffith, the 33-year-old actor is still a star. Fifty Shades of GreyWhile she is not a stranger to the camera, and has her own social media accounts, she is very low-key with her online presence. So it’s not surprising that she was able to write a few words about her mom’s decision of sharing snaps of herself online.

James Corden, speaking to James Corden hosts the Late Late Show In mid-January 2022 the actor opened up about her frustration, especially when she finds out her mom – who has half a million followers — has shared a throwback to Instagram.

“I don’t like it, but I also don’t go on social media, so I don’t find out about it until it’s really baked into the Internet, and somebody will send it to me like, ‘Oh, you were so ugly — or you were so cute, when you had braces and a slicked back ponytail’,” she told the host.

“I became like a 12-year old and I’m like, Mom, that’s impossible. “We’ve had this conversation so often! The actor continued. “She doesn’t care.”

Dakota, just like many kids, has had her share a few embarrassing moments about her parents. Dakota recalled that her mom was “the most amazing person” but embarrasses her in front of many people. She also revealed that her mum called her out once in front her crush, when she was eight years old. Dakota laughed, confessing that she tried to be invisible while walking across the airport with a plant.

“It was obvious. It was very noticeable,” she said. “I couldn’t hide behind the plant… it wasn’t like a tree.”
