Dakota Johnson calls out her mom for sharing photos without consent on Social Media.

Dakota Johnson has publicly called out her mom Melanie Griffith was criticized for posting photos of herself on social media without permission. The 33-year old actor is most well-known for her role as the star in Fifty Shades of GreyAlthough she is no stranger to the camera, and does have her own profiles on social media, she is quite low-key in her online presence. So it’s not surprising that she was able to write a few words about her mom sharing photos of her online.

James Corden, speaking to James Corden hosts the Late Late Show In mid-January 2022 the actor opened up about her frustration, especially when she finds out her mom – who has half a million followers — has shared a throwback to Instagram.

“I don’t like it, but I also don’t go on social media, so I don’t find out about it until it’s really baked into the Internet, and somebody will send it to me like, ‘Oh, you were so ugly — or you were so cute, when you had braces and a slicked back ponytail’,” she told the host.

“I became like a 12-year old and I’m like, Mom, that’s impossible. This conversation has been repeated many times. “We’ve had this conversation so many times!” the actor said. “She doesn’t care.”

Dakota, like all kids, has had her share of embarrassing moments with her parents. “My mom is the most incredible person, but she embarrasses my in front a lot of people,” Dakota said, before recalling that her mum once called her out infront of her crush when she had just eight years old. Dakota giggled, admitting she did her best to “be invisible” at the airport.

She added, “It wasn’t difficult to see me.” “I couldn’t hide behind the plant… it wasn’t like a tree.”
