‘Daily Show’ Has Brutal Warning For ‘F**king Dummies’ Investing In Trump’s New Scam

Daily Show” correspondents Ronny Chieng and Michael Kosta used Wednesday night’s show to sound the alarm over Donald Trump’s latest attempt to “grift” his most devoted followers: a new crypto venture called World Liberty Financial.

“Donald Trump, the world’s most trustworthy businessman, is now in crypto, the world’s most trustworthy business,” Chieng said, then he turned to an “expert” on scams and crypto for some advice: Donald Trump.

Chieng played past comments by the former president attacking cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, as a “scam” and “based on thin air.”

Chieng took a closer look at the other figures behind the venture and found it even less reassuring. One is a man convicted of dealing drugs who also sold colon cleansers; the other is a former pickup artist who founded a company called Date Hotter Girls.

That led to a brutal mock infomercial for the venture featuring Kosta.

“Crypto is a complex intersection of finance and technology, and we don’t know shit about it either,” he said. “But what we do know is: You like Trump. Trump like money. You give Trump money.”

Kosta said Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, has less than 50 days to the election to cash in.

“We don’t have time for a bunch of questions like ‘Are we insured by the FDIC?’” he said. “Are you kidding me? The only FDIC here is you, the Fucking Dummies Investing Cash.”

Kosta said he was required to read an important financial disclosure.

“This is a grift,” he said. “You are the mark.”
