QUÉBEC CITY, Jan. 13, 2023 /CNW Telbec/ – The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:

636 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,294,139*;

12 new deaths, for a total of 17,801 deaths, i.e.;
NOTE: Because death removals aren’t shown in the data above it is possible that the number death additions could exceed the number new deaths for the day.

2,228 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);

1,989 hospitalizations, including 682 due to COVID-19, for a decrease of 37 compared to the previous day;

49 people in intensive care, including 26 due to COVID-19, for an increase of 5 compared to the previous day;

8697 samples collected January 11,;

321,612 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 271,263 positive: 51 declared for yesterday, including 42 positive.
