Chris Jericho vs. Ricky Starks Announced To Receive 1/4 AEW Dynamite

Chris Jericho and Ricky Starks will appear on the inaugural episode of AEWdynamite 2023.

The December 21 episode of DynamiteChris Jericho interrupted Starks’ promo after his loss to AEW World Champ MJF the week before. Jericho stated that Starks will be a world champion one day, but he’ll need some guidance to get there. Jericho tried recruiting Starks to join the Jericho Appreciation Society, but the former FTW champion turned down the offer. Jericho then began mocking Jericho.  Starks challenged Jericho to a match, and “The Ocho” and his stablemates then ganged up on Starks until Action Andretti made the save for the fan-favorite.

AEW confirmed the match on December 27, 2007.
