China will publish COVID information once per month when Category B disease falls under its management

BEIJING (Reuters), – China will publish COVID-19 data once a monthly when the disease falls under Category A management, a Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention official stated on Tuesday.

China’s COVID management was downgraded from the top-level Category A to the more restrictive Category B, because the disease is becoming less virulent and will eventually evolve into a common respiratory infection.
