Cher confuses her fans with diamond ring hints during Christmas engagemen

Cher After a photo led fans to believe that she was engaged to Alexander Edwards, fans were confused.

In November, Strong Enough singer 76 confirmed her relationship to the 36-year old music executive by sharing an online photo of him.

Cher shared a photo on Christmas Day (December 25, 2015) of a teardrop-shaped, diamond with an encrusted band and black velvet box. This led to speculation that they were planning on getting married.

Numerous fans quickly sent their congratulations to Edwards and Edwards, but she had already debunked the idea that they were going to marry.

I responded to a fan that had heard rumors about a possible marriage. Cher responded: “No… I’VE BEEN MARRIED THATS WHY I CHANGED MY NAME TO CHER . NOT EASY. SEEMS LIKE THE COURT FROWNS. Ppl must be able to recognize you with this name. Bingo.”

She later reposted the image again, adding the comment: “I post this cause his nails so cool,” referring to his neon-green and black nail varnish which looked like flames.

Yahoo has reached out Cher’s representatives to get clarification or comment.

Edwards would then be Cher’s third spouse if true.

She was previously married to Sonny Bono From 1964 to 1975, and then from 1975 to 1978 to Gregg Allman.

The singer is the father of two children. One from each marriage.

Edwards had a previous three-year relationship with Amber RoseWith whom he has a 3-year-old son, Slash Electronic Alexander Edwards. They divorced in August 2021.

Cher was forced to defend her relationship and marriage with Edwards due to the 40-year age difference, but she insists that it works for them both and makes her happy.

In December, Kelly Clarkson spoke on The Kelly Clarkson Show. He said that although it seems absurd, they get along well in real life. He’s fabulous. “I don’t give men things they don’t deserve.”

This news is a happy moment for the celebrity, who announced it death of her beloved mother, Georgia Holt, December 10th.
