BURNCO Rock Products acquires an Action Ready Mix to Strengthen its Position in Colorado’s Construction Market
Calgary, Alberta, and Denver, Colorado- (Newsfile Corp. – December 23, 2022 – BURNCO rock Products Ltd. (“BURNCO”) announced today that it had closed the asset acquisition at Action Ready Mix, LLC (“Action Ready Mix”) This acquisition strengthens BURNCO’s position in Colorado’s front-range market by adding several ready mix concrete plants in Colorado Springs, and Pueblo.
Action Ready Mix is a local concrete manufacturing business that employs over 70 people. They serve the residential and commercial construction industries. The Gazette newspaper from Colorado Springs has named it the Best Workplace for its size. Action Ready Mix employees were given the chance to join BURNCO. This includes all employees who plan to do so.
Tom Zais (CEO of BURNCO), stated, “BURNCO is and Action Ready Mix are absolutely complementary in the Colorado market.” Both our companies are unique in the market because we both employ local people to help local communities harvest local resources. Both companies are also committed to expanding and strengthening Colorado’s front-range operations. In the near future, Action Ready Mix equipment and operations will be rebranded to BURNCO.
