Billionaire Men’s Fall 2023

The confident silver-fox models embodying Billionaire’s target customers suavely walked around the intimate bar of the Principe di Savoia hotel bedecked in velvet tuxedos, cashmere coats and crocodile jackets.

Philipp Plein chose the right location for the brand because it reflected the brand’s ethos. The brand is niche-focused and exclusive to meet the needs of its target audience. Consequently the brand’s collections are usually concise and focus on exalting opulent fabrications and the craftsmanship of the Italian ateliers Plein partners with rather than aiming to set new design trends.

Even so, the fall 2023 collection had a greater appeal than any of its predecessors thanks to earthy tones as well as a hunting theme that inspired daywear options. There were many options for quilted blazer jackets or biker options in leather and snakeskin. Also, denim and corduroy pants were available tucked into combat boots. An all-over design of hunting dogs was printed on separates. However, it felt right in keeping with the luxury Plein aims to instill in the brand.

“We have the rock star, the dandy and the athlete,” Plein said, describing the roster of labels under his control and referring to his namesake line, Billionaire and Plein Sport, respectively. Plein suggested that Plein Sport’s next event, which would have more than 5,000 attendees, would reinforce his commitment to keeping the different identities separate. For sure, the queues for drinks will be different.
