MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) — Australia has defeated South Africa by an innings and 182 runs in the second cricket test Thursday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground to win the three-test series 2-0:

Australia wins 575-8 by Anrich Nortje 392; South Africa loses 1st Innings189 to South Africa (Marco Jansen, Kyle Verreyne 52, Cameron Green 5-27), and 2nd Innings204 to Tamba Bavuma 65 and Nathan Lyon 3-58), respectively, by an innings.
