China asks the European Union to view its COVID situation objectively and fairly

BEIJING (Reuters), – The European Union should take stock of China’s current epidemic situation objectively and fairly, according to Friday’s foreign ministry.

Mao Ning, spokesperson for the Ministry, answered a question about the grouping’s recommendation that passengers from China be tested with COVID-19 before they depart at a regular media briefing.

Officials from the EU suggested that such passengers provide a negative COVID-19 result before departing.
