Broward County Libraries launches new tech talk weekly and creation station monthly podcasts

BROWARD COUNTY FL., Jan. 3, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — In January 2023Broward County Libraries will launch podcasts for two popular online programs.  Tech Talk Weekly  Creation Station MonthlyAvailable wherever you access your podcast app.

Libraries’ new podcasts feature the Season Three of Tech Talk Weekly & Creation Station Monthly podcasts. Listeners can choose between the existing online/Facebook Live podcasts or the new podcast.

Broward County Library Director says podcasts “are an amazing way for our library to connect and communicate” Allison Grubbs. “We are delighted to be able offer two our most popular programs using this format and excited about the opportunity to bring library material to a new market.”

Tech Talk Weekly is produced by and Creation Station Monthly is produced by Bob AnstettBroward County Library’s Coordinator for Digital Initiatives. Each program includes one-on-one conversations with Anstett (Tech Talk Weekly), or with two guests (Creation Station Monthly). Listeners can now listen to the podcasts live or on-demand with the new format.

Tech Talk Weekly The Creation Station makerspace at Main Library produces the show. Every Thursday at 7:00 PM, the program airs. 4PM Podcasts will have the podcast available starting in September January 5, 2023. Anstett and a librarian team up to discuss the week’s most important tech news stories. Listeners can get a library-oriented perspective on current events, and learn more about the library’s behind-the-scenes staff.

Creation Station Monthly The airs also on Tuesdays at 8:00 PM. 4PMThe next show is scheduled for January 26, 2023. Each episode features a live, unscripted conversation between two creative professionals who have never met before. Participants share their creative journeys and inspirational stories. Past participants include the science expert. Wakanda for Ever: Black Panthera boudoir photographer as well as a gourmet bakery owner.
