NFL announces games for Week 18 Saturday doubleheader

Late Sunday night, the NFL released details about which games will be played on Week 18.

The AFC South champion will be at stake in the game between the rising Jacksonville Jaguars and the slumping Tennessee Titans.

The AFC West rivalry will be featured in the first game, as the Kansas City Chiefs, champions AFC West, take on the Raiders in Las Vegas.

The rest of the Week 18 schedule, including Game 272 on NBC’s Sunday Night Football, will be announced during or immediately after Monday’s Bills-Bengals game.

Television and the Times for the Games:

Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023

Kansas City at Las Vegas, 4:30 p.m. ET ESPN/ABC

Tennessee at Jacksonville 8:15 p.m. ET ESPN/ABC

Kansas City enters Week 18 on a winning streak of four games and a record of 13-3 overall. The Raiders have fallen to 6-10 this season, and have also lost two consecutive games.

In Doug Pederson’s first year as the Jaguars’ head coach, Jacksonville is now 8-8. The Jaguars won four straight games after a win over Tennessee, 36-22, in Nashville.

Although the Titans looked like they were on their way towards an AFC South championship, they have fallen to pieces. They had been 7-3, but lost six straight to fall at 7-9.

The winner of the AFC South meeting will be crowned division champion and host to a Wild Card round playoff game.
