Sampo, in compliance with the Market Abuse Regulations (EU 596/2014 MAR) and the Commission Delegated Regulations (EU 2016/1052 MAR) announced a share-buyback program up to EUR 1 Billion. The authorization given by Sampo at its Annual General Meeting on 18/05/2022 allowed the programme to begin on 10/06/2022.
After the disclosure transactions and the cancellation of own shares on 8/12/2022, the company has total 2,081,071 Sampo A stocks, representing 0.40 percent of Sampo plc’s total shares.
