Ranking the X-Men movies! From New Mutants to Logan

Simon Kinberg’s redo of the Dark Pheonix Saga handed Sophie Turner the reigns to really kick it up a gear as Jean Grey. Jean is now a threat to all her loved ones, having come into contact with the cosmic Pheonix Force. This is a more intimate interpretation of The Last Stand and clearly has potential. 

Due to lengthy delays and reshoots, the final result is not impressive. Storm, Young Cyclops and Nightcrawler are all forgotten once more, while important plots like Magneto’s Island of Genosha remain unexplored. It would have been possible for the movie to be released prior to the Disney/Fox merger. However, it was canceled.
