Three-star running back commits to Ohio State

It’s been an up-and-down recruiting year for Ohio State football. Between commitments, decommitments, and flips, it has been one roller coaster of a ride on Buckeye fans’ emotions.

OSU continues to be a strong team despite the drama of the last few weeks. landed a top-10 class. Although it may be a downyear by Ohio State standards, it is still an impressive haul. However, there were some obvious omissions that had to be corrected.

After Mark Fletcher He signed with the Miami Hurricanes to back up his commitment. The Buckeyes did not have any running backs for the 2023 class. Hartson was a three-star prospect who received offers from several mid-majors, including Central Michigan, Buffalo, and Army. He also had offers from one Power Five school, Boston College.

Hartson is a product of one the most well-known high schools in the state. He has had a distinguished career. Hartson is the single-game rushing champion with 324 yards. He also holds the single season rushing record of over 2,000 yards.

The kid appears to be a hard worker. He may also have the gritty back Ohio State fans love. Miyan Williams was a three – star player and almost an afterthought in his time with the Buckeyes in 2020. Hartson might be that same kinda diamond in the rough.
