North Jersey writes on its tonight’s TV bets that Clint Eastwood will be on television screen with his Pale Rider on 12th March 2010 at 8PM. The film stars Michael Moriarty, Carrie Snodgress, Richard Dysart, Christopher Penn, Sydney Penny etc in the lead roles. The film was released on 26th June 1985 and distributed by Warner Bros. The duration is 116mins.

Written by Michael Butler and Dennis Shryack, the plot is quite similar to the 1953 classic Shane. Eastwood plays a lethal stranger who helps comparatively oppressed people who are tortured by a corrupt power baron.

The plot mainly deals with the clash in poor and simple with the most powerful person in the town played by Richard Dysart. He is the owner of the hydraulic mine where the poor people work and he wants to take over their land. Eastwood comes as a rescue to all the downtrodden in the town.

Corey Haim’s mom was told that her son had not died of suicide (what a tremendous relief to his mom), but instead Corey Haim had died of pulmonary lung congestion. Haim’s death did not appear to be induced by an overdosing of drugs at all. Corey Haim’s heart was enlarge and his lungs were filled up with water.

Though a drug overdose has been ruled out, Haim did have 4 different pain meds in his room on the day he died. It is assumed that those pain medications were to help him with his sickness; however, an investigation is underway involving Haim’s drug use.

The heartthrob from the 80’s died at the tender age of 38 years old on Wednesday, March 10, 2010. Haim was very popular for many movies, one of which is the Lost Boys. Haim’s life long friend, Corey Feldman had co-star in many of these movies with Corey Haim. Corey Feldman had come out with a statement indicated his intense sadness and love for Corey Haim. He mentioned his wish that people would try and make more of a difference in the lives of those around them while they have the loved ones in their lives.

The host arena for the college basketball games is the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Kansas came into the Big 12 championship game as well as the tournament bracket with the top seeding. Their state competitors, Kansas State, was slated as the second seed in the tournament.

Another top team, Baylor, was seeded third and made it to the semifinals yesterday by easily defeating number six seed Texas.

Kansas State beat Oklahoma State easily on Thursday with the final score of 83-64.

Kansas beat number 4 Texas A&M by 13 with a final score of 79 to 66.

It wasn’t supposed to be that way, but things rarely turn out as planned in boxing. Instead of fighting in one of the biggest bouts ever against Floyd Mayweather Jr., Pacquiao will have to settle for fighting in one of the biggest stadiums ever.

The opponent is Joshua Clottey, and he’s what the wise guys in Las Vegas would call a live dog. A talented boxer who has never been stopped and briefly held a piece of the welterweight title, he brings some credentials of his own into Saturday night’s 147-pound fight at Cowboy Stadium.

But while he may be fighting on the star, there’s only one star in this show. Little guys aren’t supposed to fill big stadiums, yet some 45,000 fans are expected to be on hand to watch Pacquiao up close and personal — and on the huge overhead video screens that will show every drop of sweat and blood.

“The best fighter I’ve ever seen,” said promoter Bob Arum, who includes Muhammad Ali in that group. “No one has ever punched with equal power from both hands like Manny.”

Arum has a financial interest in saying that, of course, but there are few in boxing who would argue that Pacquiao is a talent unlike any the sport has seen in recent years. He’s coming off a stoppage of Miguel Cotto that cemented his credentials at 147 pounds, and he has created a buzz about boxing the sport desperately needed.

Twelve years ago he won his first title at 112 pounds. Now he’s a champion in seven weight classes who will make at least $12 million in a gleaming new stadium far from the bright lights of Las Vegas.

Just as importantly, Pacquiao’s doing it without Mayweather, now a bitter rival after talks for their megafight collapsed over Mayweather’s insistence on blood testing — and what Pacquiao believes was the inference he bulked up on performance-enhancing drugs.

“Some fighters like me, we can be the greatest fighters without fast words and trash talk,” Pacquiao said. “His (Mayweather’s) style is talking a lot of trash and it is not a good example for everybody.”

Fenty showed up at the press conference where Randolph was named the new head coach to declare that it was Natalie Randolph Day in the DC area. Randolph, 29, is a science teacher at the high school who decided to apply for the vacant coaching position at the encouragement of a fellow faculty member.

Randolph has a history with football. She played in a female pro football league and had been an assistant coach at another high school. Randolph has said it didn’t make any difference to her that so few women coach football. She just knew she could do the job.

Berkner started off small and taught kids’ music classes and played at birthday parties, then began making up her own songs to play at her gigs. Then things took off. She said about writing her own stuff: “It actually made it a lot easier to work with them because it was hard to find a song that every kid would like. And by me writing, it allowed them to move around the room in a way that I had control over the situation without them even realizing it.”

She really hit it big when she scored a small segment on the Today Show in 2001, and then landed a spot on Nick Jr. three years later. Now she also does concerts for kids, which she calls birthday parties. She said her gigs “are still a concert, but there will be a stage set that will help create the feeling of being at a birthday party but with lots of music.”
