Adam Lambert has announced to followers on Twitter.com Saturday (December 19) that he will be performing at Gridlock NY. The event, held on New Years Eve, has made this showman the main event. Indeed, Lambert starts singing when the clock strikes 12 and 2010 is rung in.
But don’t go rushing to New York City quite yet because this party won’t really be starting on December 31 in NYC.
Instead, the celebration will take place at 5555 Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, California, decked out to include stand-ins for New York thoroughfares and places of interest like Park Avenue, Times Square, and even Rockefeller Center.
Confused?
Me too!
NY could mean one of two things, New York or New Year. The promoters of the party scene, however, meant the latter.
The good news about this upcoming party is that Pamela Anderson will host (always lovely to see this Bay Watch babe in Southern California) and that Adam Lambert isn’t going to be on television — meaning this showman can get as wild as he wants without censorship.
Tickets for the Los Angeles event cost, on the low end, $150 dollars, going upwards from there. The upcoming event appears to be part of Paramount Studios, blocked off for New Year’s Eve party goers.
Sounds like serious New Year’s Eve fun, SoCal style with a taste of the City That Never Sleeps thrown in for good measure!

Seriously it shows what an idiot some writers are to repeat this stupid nonsense. The Gridlock is no make shift deal. It is a major movie set taking up 6 square blocks. The Gridlock NYE Bash is a huge Hollywood deal accomodating 5,000 people!! It headlined Katy Perry last year and Adam Lambert his year. Please stop repeating other so called journalist BS articles. Two people writing crap doesn’t make it right!! Get your facts straight!!
Oh, for a moment there I was acting like a real b****. I guess we (fans) get offended over the smallest things. We’re sheep, we follower our master (Adam) and do whatever he says. We have no minds of our own because we don’t have a life. We’re unhappy and need an escape from our meaningless life. We’re dumb that way.
40 minutes of Adam Lambert is too good to be true! Dick Clarks yawn NYE Rocking Eve is so lame. I’d pay to see Adam any day. WHO in their right mind would choose Seacrest & Co. over Adam?
I am hoping that they will put his performance on paperview and advertise it so we will all know to get it…Just in case they do I have started getting some friends together to watch…Never had paperview but will call dish and find out about it if I see it advertised…….
