Adam Lambert and Harry Connick Jr. have been invited by Ellen Degeneres to help the comedienne celebrate her 52nd birthday. Ellen’s annual birthday bash is always full of surprises, and this year will be no different as her favorite people gather to join in the celebration.
“American Idol” alum Adam Lambert is first up, and he’ll give a special birthday performance for Ellen. Degeneres is a huge fan of Lambert, and has had him on her show before. Look for Lambert to sing a song from his debut album called “For Your Entertainment.” Next up is Ellen’s good friend, the very funny Harry Connick Jr., who will keep the fun going with some laughs and a game. Will Arnett also joins in the fun. His wife, Amy Poehler, gifted Ellen with a 250-roll of bubble wrap last year. Can Arnett’s gift be as outrageously funny? In addition, to keep everyone dancing throughout the birthday celebration, five dancers from “This Is It” will be on hand, and they too are bringing a special birthday present.
Like last year, friends of Ellen will call in to wish the comedienne and future “American Idol” judge a very “happy birthday.” With loads of surprises and lots of laughter, this is one Ellen episode you won’t want to miss.
The Ellen Degeneres birthday special with Adam Lambert, Harry Connick Jr. and Will Arnett airs on Tuesday, January 26th at 4:00 p.m. ET on NBC.
